When you’re hydrated, your heart doesn’t have to work nearly as hard to pump blood, which directly translates to soaring energy levels, better physical endurance on your daily walks, and less overall fatigue. 8. Eat Well (The 80/20 Rule) Fuel yourself with a clean, vibrant diet. Lean heavily into a Mediterranean style of eating, loads of fresh fruit, vegetables, and fish. Aim for 80% healthy, home-cooked food and save just 20% for takeaway. Don’t let the excuse of being “too busy at work” flip those percentages the wrong way round. 9. Don’t Smoke. Ever.
