Pasta

Finally, we know what isn’t fit for a queen. When she’s eating lunch alone, Queen Elizabeth II won’t let herself eat starches, formal Royal chef Darren McGrady tells RecipesPlus.
That means no pasta for Her Majesty.
Instead, she chows down on a big salad, or grilled fish or chicken with two veggies on the side.
This warm salad of quail eggs with asparagus and parmesan would be ideal.
Potatoes

The Queen doesn’t just resist pasta and bread. She also turns down potatoes because of their starch factor. Shame, really, because she would miss out on this delicious and light potato salad with horseradish dressing.
Rare meat

Think a rare steak makes you look sophisticated?
The Queen would dare to disagree.
Her Highness prefers her meat well done, says McGrady.
This barbecued steak would be ideal if Her Majesty popped ’round for a barbie – just cook it on the grill a little longer and make sure to rest it well.
