Types of garage doors
The differences between various types of garage doors.
Roller doors

Roller doors have a ribbed steel curtain that rolls around a drum, counterbalanced with springs and guided along tracks. They are generally cost-effective and secure.
Sectional doors

Sectional doors have hinged sections that move vertically then horizontally to slide along ceiling tracks for a slimline fit. They can be made from steel or timber.
Tilting doors

Tilting doors comprise a single panel that is raised or lowered on pivoting arms at both sides. They don’t require much headroom and come in a range of materials.
