Tips for buying tools

Go for quality and you’ll save time. It’s better to have a limited number of good-quality tools than a multitude of useless gadgets.

Choose tools that are properly adapted to your build. In particular, take note of tool handles (spades and forks for instance): regardless of whether they’re made of wood, metal or plastic resin, handles need to be solid and light, and always suitable for your hands.

Motorised tools, such as leaf blowers, are great time savers, though they’re often quite noisy. Use them appropriately and in moderation.
