Ingredients

3 T creme fraiche
2 T dijon mustard
1 T honey
1 T freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 T fresh dill, minced (plus more for garnish)
Sliced wholemeal bread
1⁄2 lb smoked salmon, thinly sliced

Preparation

1. In a small bowl, combine crème fraiche, Dijon, honey, lemon juice and dill. Chill at least 4 hours, until serving time.
2. Cut crusts from wholemeal bread. Use a 1-1/2-inch round cookie cutter to cut bread into circles. Lightly toast. Spread Dijon mixture onto wholemeal. Top with a piece of salmon and garnish with dill.
