Quince Jam Recipe
A great way to preserve fruit is to make them into jam- learn how to preserve quinces.

Ingredients for quince jam
2 kg quinces (prepared weight)
1–2 litres water
3 kg sugar
juice of 2 lemons
Preparation method for quince jam
1. Peel and core the quinces. Cut the flesh into small cubes or grate coarsely. Put in the pan with the water, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until tender.
2. Remove the lid and simmer until reduced. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
