• Feed spring-flowering annuals and deadhead to prolong flowering.
•Water in dry windy periods.
• Sow amaranthus, bedding begonias, celosia, coleus, cosmos, dahlias, gaillardia, gazanias, gerberas, marigolds, petunias, phlox, portulaca, salvia, sunflowers, torenia and zinnias.
• Plant gingers and rudbeckia.
