Circular saw Photo: Handyman

Unplug the saw, open the guard and wedge the teeth into a timber offcut. Depress the blade lock on the motor side to undo the bolt
with a flat socket wrench. Replace the blade and tighten the bolt.

SQUARE THE BLADE
Most saws have an adjustment screw to keep the blade square to the baseplate. Set the blade to maximum, retract the guard and position a square against the base and blade, tightening the screw when they’re 90º to each other.
