Make the most of wall space
Wall-mount a steel track above the sink to arrange cooking utensils and equipment such as paper towels. Secure using timber screws into wall studs and attach hooks to hold lightweight cutlery storage units.

Build a knife block into the bench
To make a 25mm slot, drill two holes using a 3mm twist bit on either side of the slot and cut between the holes with a jigsaw. Ensure the underside of the bench where knives protrude is boxed in for safety.

Use a portable Trolley
Set up a kitchen trolley to fi t under the benchtop for extra workspace when cooking. Secure a hygienic chopping board to the top that can be removed for cleaning and add extra rails for hanging dish towels.

Customise the spice drawer
Cut a plywood sheet to fi t into the top of the drawer. Use a jigsaw to make a series of customised shapes, measured to fi t the containers but support the lids for easy access.
